Bro Simon Carver Maraire was born on 21 September 1955 in a Methodist family in Mutambara. He wedded Angeline on 29 January 1983 and they have been blessed with 2 girls and 1 boy. He received the Message and got baptised in Westwood in 1978. He became a trustee and librarian for spoken word books and tapes in 1981.
